HRCI certification continues to grow! As of August there are 89,170 actively certified HR professionals. Of these, 50,174 hold the PHR credential, 38,531 the SPHR and 826 the GPHR.

Within these totals, 78 hold both PHR and GPHR; 283 hold both SPHR and GPHR; 24 hold PHR and PHR-CA; and 75 hold SPHR and SPHR-CA.

The Top Ten
The following states have the most HRCI certified professionals. The states are the same as last year’s top ten, which just goes to show that success breeds success—and the PHR, SPHR and GPHR mean success!
